The latest tourism results for Greater Miami & Miami Beach, unveiled during last week's Annual State of the Travel & Tourism Industry event hosted by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), highlighted another record-breaking year for the destination and the outstanding performance of the UK market.
In 2025, Greater Miami & Miami Beach welcomed 28.3 million visitors and generated USD 32.2 billion in total economic impact. Among the key international markets driving this success, the UK stood out with visitor arrivals increasing by an impressive 11.8% year over year.
The UK also maintained its position as Greater Miami & Miami Beach's third-largest international source market, behind Colombia and Brazil, reinforcing its importance to the destination's international tourism strategy and economic success.

International Markets Continue to Drive Growth
International visitors remain a vital component of Greater Miami & Miami Beach's tourism success. Alongside the strong performance of the UK market, Colombia and Brazil continued to lead international visitation, while Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Germany and France all contributed to another successful year.
This diverse mix of international travellers helps support businesses across the destination while reinforcing Miami's position as one of the world's leading global tourism hubs.
Tourism's Economic Impact Continues to Grow
The record visitation achieved in 2025 translated into significant economic benefits for Miami-Dade County. Visitors spent USD 22.7 billion on lodging, dining, shopping, transportation and entertainment, representing a 4.1% increase compared to the previous year.
Tourism supported more than 216,000 jobs across the county and generated over USD 12 billion in wages, demonstrating the industry's critical role in driving economic opportunity and supporting local communities.
International visitors continue to be particularly valuable, spending an average of more than USD 1,150 per trip and contributing strongly across the hospitality, retail and leisure sectors.
Building on Strong Momentum
The positive results announced at the Annual State of the Travel & Tourism Industry event reflect the continued strength of Greater Miami & Miami Beach's tourism offering and the effectiveness of its global marketing efforts.
For the UK market in particular, the 11.8% growth achieved in 2025 highlights the destination's enduring appeal among British travellers. Strong air connectivity, world-class events, diverse cultural experiences and year-round sunshine continue to position Greater Miami & Miami Beach as a preferred long-haul destination.
With a robust pipeline of major sporting events, conventions and cultural celebrations on the horizon, the destination is well positioned to maintain its momentum and continue attracting visitors from around the world.
Looking Ahead
As Greater Miami & Miami Beach builds on another record year, the UK remains one of its most strategically important international markets. As the third-largest source market after Colombia and Brazil, British travellers continue to play a significant role in supporting visitor spending, business growth and the broader tourism economy.
The strong results presented at this year's State of the Travel & Tourism Industry event demonstrate that Greater Miami & Miami Beach's global appeal remains stronger than ever, creating a solid foundation for continued growth in the years ahead.
